Dr. Glen A. McMurray
Dr. Glen A. McMurray grew up the third son in a family of four boys. His father was a corporate man for General Motors so Glen lived in Minnesota, Maryland, New York and Michigan before landing in Ohio at the age of 15. Glen graduated from Cardinal High School in Geauga County in 1974. He then went on to his undergraduate degree in Biology at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. From there he was accepted into The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated with his DDS in June 1981. Glen began his career in private practice in August of 1981 as an associate with Dr. P. J. Yaussy.
For more than 40 years, Dr. McMurray has been involved with numerous community organizations such as the YMCA, Bucyrus Little League, Crawford County Arts Council, Bucyrus Community Foundation and Bucyrus Community Hospital.
Glen is married to Nancy McMurray and they are parents to twin daughters, Kelly and Erin. He has four granddaughters. Glen stays active playing tennis, racquetball, pickleball, kayaking and he enjoys every moment he has playing with his dogs and riding his horse.
Dr. Autumn R. Sackett
Dr. Autumn Sackett grew up in a small town in Northwest Ohio, where she graduated from Archbold High School in 1993. She attended Ohio University and Bowling Green State University for her undergraduate studies. She then went on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2000 with her Doctoral of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduating, Dr. Sackett worked in private practice in the Columbus area before settling in Bucyrus in 2002.
Dr. Sackett enjoys the artistic side of her profession. She loves transforming smiles with cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. She enjoys getting to know her patients and providing them with treatment options that best suit their desired outcomes and lifestyle. She is also focusing on treating sleep apnea for her patients and has taken many advanced courses in this area.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sackett enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, exercising and traveling.
Drs. McMurray and Sackett are committed to bringing the latest in dental technology to their patients. They continue their dental education by taking several courses throughout the country each year. As an example, they traveled to San Diego, California where they took advanced training courses for CEREC. CEREC uses CAD-CAM technology to restore teeth with porcelain onlays or crowns in a single office visit. They have also recently taken advanced level courses for implants, orthodontic training and sleep apnea. They are both members of the Central Ohio Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Clair Erlsten
Dr. Clair Erlsten grew up in Galion, Ohio and graduated from Galion high School in 2015. She then attended Kent State University, acquiring her undergraduate degree in 2018. After graduation she worked with Dr. McMurray and Sackett as a dental assistant, gaining valuable experience before beginning dental school. She then went on to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she graduated in 2023. Dr. Erlsten knew at the age of two years old that she wanted to be a dentist and would constantly ask if it was time to go back for a cleaning. She is thrilled to have finally made her childhood dream come true and to be working with both Dr. McMurray and Dr. Sackett again. When she is not working, Dr. Erlsten enjoys photography, capturing anything from families to surprise proposals. She loves getting behind the lens and capturing those special memories for people. She is married to Zane Ekin and enjoys the rest of her free time soaking up the cuddles and love with their new baby girl. She is so excited to be back home and working in the community she grew up in.
